Wanup Public School, which has just 89 students this school year and is projected to have only 62 by 2013/2014, and Long Lake Public School, which now has 72 students and is projected to have 51 by 2013/2014, were both recommended for closure by the board’s six-member Administrative Council, based on three groups of options prepared by an Accommodation Terrigal review committee (ARC) that included members of parents councils at the schools involved and staff.
